The project files were lost before the track could be completed. What remains is the first draft, the version that existed before everything disappeared. Unfinished, unpolished, but intact in its own way.
I held onto it for years, meaning to rebuild it. That isnโt going to happen. The files are gone, and there is no version of this that gets completed now. But I decided it was worth releasing as it stands rather than leaving it buried.
This is the first of several lost projects. None of them will ever be finished. Each still carries something that deserves to be heard.

His musical journey began with the guitar and metal at the age of 14, before first encountering psytrance in the late 90s. He forged his way through underground events to headline Doof Festival and signed to Dooflex, releasing a debut album Aquatic Serenade (2006) that sent shockwaves through the global community, followed by Deeper into Man (2008).
After joining Belgium-based Dacru Records in 2011, U-Recken released a string of acclaimed works, including A Light at the End of the World (2013), Flames of Equilibrium, and Nothing is Sacred (2017), as well as numerous EPs and singles that continue to resonate on dancefloors worldwide. Known for closing countless doof festivals with unforgettable live performances and DJ sets, his deep understanding of dancefloor dynamics has earned him a reputation as a highly skilled and emotionally impactful artist.
Beyond the stage, Yaniv is also a talented developer, designer, and entrepreneur. He founded Tree of Life Events in 2011 with the goal of bringing nationalities together and building a bridge to coexistence, at its peak hosting guests from 43 countries including Iran, Turkey, and Lebanon. At its 2017 edition in Greece, he opened the festival to Turkish guests free of charge. That year, the original venue fell through unexpectedly, forcing a relocation with only 10 daysโ notice, a change that caused a huge financial loss and was compounded by injustice and gaslighting in its aftermath. Even so, he pulled off the impossible, keeping the festival and its program running flawlessly. That loss, followed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the aftermath of October 7th, led him to step back from pursuing music production full-time and make a conscious decision to develop different artistic branches while dedicating more time to his family.
Today, he channels two decades of hard-won experience into the underground scene, having developed, designed, and coded both FeedFreq Magazine and BigFreq Academy, where he serves as an instructor for artist development, contributing high-quality sample packs and templates for electronic music producers worldwide. Beyond electronic music production, he also writes music for video games and films.
His music, built on intricate beats and transcendent melodies, has earned widespread acclaim and established him as a truly one-of-a-kind voice in the psychedelic underground, winning him lasting love from followers around the world.
In 2026, U-Recken celebrates 20 years of the project with his highly anticipated 6th studio album on his new label BM Syndicate. Two decades in, he is still evolving and in many ways just getting started.
