The project files were lost before the track could be completed. What remains is the first draft, the version that existed before everything disappeared. Unfinished, unpolished, but intact in its own way.
I held onto it for years, meaning to rebuild it. That isn’t going to happen. The files are gone, and there is no version of this that gets completed now. But I decided it was worth releasing as it stands rather than leaving it buried.
This is the first of several lost projects. None of them will ever be finished. Each still carries something that deserves to be heard.

His musical journey began with the guitar and Metal in the age of 14, before first encountering psytrance in the late 90s. He forged his way through underground events to headline Doof Festival and signed to Dooflex, releasing a debut album Aquatic Serenade (2006) that sent shockwaves through the global community. followed by Deeper into Man (2008).
After joining Belgium-based Dacru Records in 2011, U-Recken released a string of acclaimed works, including A Light at the End of the World (2013), Flames of Equilibrium, and Nothing is Sacred (2017), as well as numerous EPs and singles that continue to resonate on dancefloors worldwide. Known for closing countless doof festivals with unforgettable live performances and DJ sets, his deep understanding of dancefloor dynamics has earned him a reputation as a highly skilled and emotionally impactful artist.
Beyond the stage, Yaniv is a visionary entrepreneur and community builder. He co-founded the Tree of Life Festival in the mountains of Turkey and launched innovative platforms, including FeedFreq and BigFreq Academy, channeling two decades of hard-won experience into helping underground producers worldwide build sustainable careers without compromising their artistic integrity.
His music, built on intricate beats and transcendent melodies, has earned widespread acclaim and established him as a truly one-of-a-kind voice in the psychedelic underground.
In 2026, U-Recken celebrates 20 years of the project with his highly anticipated 6th studio album on his new label BigFreq Syndicate. Two decades in, he is still evolving and in many ways just getting started.
